Conscious Heart Connection meets Liquid Contact! (Jan 13)

Come Connect, Dance, Play and Surrender in water’s healing embrace at “The Inner Sanctum Sanctuary” in Woodside as we soak in the New Year in a warm, fluid, fun and flowing way deepening in community, nourishment & connection.

We will share in Authentic Relating/ Conscious Connection Practices softening & opening together into the soothing waters holding us! Prompts and exercises designed to deepen presence, sharing & reveal impact, explore ways to receive more nourishment and connection while being held by the warm healing water and other loving humans!

Give yourself the gift of experiencing the depth of relaxation and the calming effects in a 97 degree womb temperature pool surrounded by the beauty & tranquility of nature.

From this state, we will as we are guided by the water to explore dance and movement free from mind.

Through our community journey we will connect intimately with self and others, deepen trust, explore consent, playfulness, attunement, surrender, & experience nourishing relaxation.

Liquid Contact explorations will be woven in and followed by a warm water Jam with music above and below the water like aquatic sloths slowly and intentionally frolicking in the warm waters of connection.

Followed by a community meal around the fire.

Schedule:

• 2 PM Arrival, check-in, drop-in and connect
  Opening circle
  Guided Aquatic Exploration with Rani Joy & John Delaplaine
• 8-ish Community clean up and closing circle

About Rani Joy and John:

Rani Joy is a Somatic Therapist, BodyWorker, Yoga teacher, Dancer and leader of Authentic Relating & Conscious Presence Practices-She brings her playfulness, creativity, intuition and open heart to facilitate a fulfilling connection to deepen with self and community.

John is passionate about creating sacred spaces for awareness-expanding experiences, while always holding trust, safety, attunement and consent as paramount. He has been dedicated to exploring somatic and ceremonial healing modalities— especially within the vital context of human connection—for well over 20 years, and chooses the element of water as his primary container to work, heal and play in.
Dinner around the fire (vegetarian & vegan options provided)

LOCATION:

Location details will be sent in your ticket confirmation email as well as in a reminder email that will be sent out the day before the event, but know at least that the pool is near Thomas Fogarty Winery on Skyline in the hills of Woodside (about 1hr from Oakland, San Francisco and Santa Cruz)

Health Mindfulness:
If you have been around large groups, risky containers, or are not feeling well, please take a covid test and/or consider staying home. Transmission risks in this container are pretty low but let’s do our best to keep each other safe.

What to bring:

• A bathing suit or alternate clothing that is comfortable and non-restrictive – the pool is kept at around 97 degrees
• A towel
• Flip flops and a robe
• Extra snacks, chocolate, fruit or treats you’d like to share
• A water bottle – you can get dehydrated in the pool and hydration is important for a relaxed body.
• Some warm and cozy clothes to change into for our shared meal time around the fire
